Dr. Jennifer Edwards, Practice Owner

Dr. Jennifer EdwardsDr. Edwards graduated with her B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech in 1992 and later earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She spent two years working in Northern Virginia before moving to New Hampshire in 2000. She then spent 2 years doing relief work, which gave her the unique opportunity to work in many veterinary hospitals throughout southern NH. The next five years were spent as an associate in a high quality practice where Dr. Edwards gained valuable medical and surgical experience.

Dr. Edwards enjoys many aspects of practice including dentistry, dermatology, pain management, laser surgery, internal medicine and client relations. She is a member of many professional associations and strives to keep current.

Dr. Edwards has advanced training in dentistry. In 2012, she trained with a board certified Veterinary Dentist in Colorado. This training enhanced her skills, knowledge and techniques. She is proud of the high quality of dentistry practiced at Ponemah and appreciates the profound difference that dentistry done well can make in the quality of an animal's life.

Dr. Jennifer Estle, DVM

Dr. Estle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. Since graduating in 2008 she has worked at a high-paced general practice that also specializes in several areas of small animal medicine and surgery. During that time she was a lead surgeon and general medicine veterinarian, gaining a strong foundation in all areas of general practice and emergency medicine.

Dr. Estle loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a passion for canine reproduction. She is especially focused on studying hormone levels in relation to ovulation timing, which aides in successful conception. She has been a member of the Society for Theriogeneology for several years. This group consists of veterinarians who are dedicated to animal reproduction. She has been formally trained by the International Canine Semen Bank (ICSB) in Oregon and Mini Tube of America for procedures such as semen shipment and freezing, surgical and transcervical artificial insemination and epididymal harvest. In addition to the reproduction specialty, she has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery. She is certified in Laser, PennHip and Stem Cell Therapy.
