Jen Estle, DVM
Associate Veterinarian, Director of Reproductive Services
Dr. Estle was born and raised in Bennington, New Hampshire on her family’s 60+ acre farm. She has recently moved back to raise her girls in the beautiful Monadnock region.
Dr. Estle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. Since graduating in 2008 she has worked at a high-paced general practice where she was a lead surgeon and general medicine veterinarian, gaining a strong foundation in all areas of general practice and emergency medicine.
Dr. Estle loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a passion for canine reproduction and soft tissue surgery. She is especially focused on studying hormone levels in relation to ovulation timing, which aides in successful conception. She is very excited about our on-site semen freezing and storage program and looks forward to working with more people as passionate about dog breeding as she is.
She is a member of the Society for Theriogenology which is a group consisting of veterinarians who are dedicated to animal reproduction. She has been formally trained by the International Canine Semen Bank (ICSB) in Oregon and Mini Tube of America for procedures such as semen shipment and freezing, surgical and transcervical artificial insemination and epididymal harvest.
Dr. Estle’s goal is to continue to develop knowledge in both reproductive services and general practice.
She is warm and approachable and values her client relationships. She is happy to answer questions and discuss current cases.
During her time off, Dr. Estle loves spending time with her husband Scott and their two daughters, Charlotte and Lillian. Her furry family consists of 3 dogs, 2 cats, 5 goats, 2 horses and 15 chickens. She and her family enjoy farming, snowshoeing, horseback riding, hiking and swimming together on their farm.
