We are equipped to see certain veterinary emergencies during our regular hours. However, if your pet experiences an after-hours emergency, they require an overnight observation, or we determine they require a level of specialty care that can be better provided elsewhere, we’ll refer you to the closest specialty care or emergency animal hospital.

Overnight Care
Please be advised that Ponemah Veterinary Hospital is not a 24 hour facility.
During the hours between the time we close at night and open the next morning, the hospital is not staffed.
On rare occassions we will offer overnight staffing by a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
While any overnight patients are kept comfortable, if a patient is ill and needs observation, medical treatments or continued IV fluids, we recommend that you transfer your pet to the Veterinary Emergency Center of Manchester.
